Overview of Idea

City streets are getting creative and exploring new possibilities - we believe that streets are urban arteries feeding the city. PaveMEANT looks to open a dialogue reflecting on the purpose and function of streets. The project will use a large scale street mural as the catalyst for the conversation.

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

This gift will fund artist concepts, gallons and gallons of paint, and supplies to create a massive street mural. The gift will also fund building materials to create inclusive living spaces that generate environments for conversations revolving around transportation, public space, community engagement, economic development, and urban interaction. It would support an experience that transcends normalcy and integrates new thoughts and ideas together.
