Overview of Idea

The Levi Effect is the story of Levi Leipheimer, a premier American cyclist who, in the autumn of his career, finds his best results are not only on the professional podium, but in the changes he's fostered in the community at home.

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

This money will help finish the editing and scoring of the film before showing it to audiences at the premiere in Santa Rosa on September 28, 2012. With nearly all the film shot, editing and music are the key hurdles towards getting a final product. Our original compositions are giving us the creative control we like and saving us a lot on licensing fees but they (naturally) are coming at a cost as well.

Normally distribution is a major concern, but as we’re giving this film away via iTunes, we can focus solely on the story we want to tell, knowing that we’ll reach millions by offering internationally it for free.
