Overview of Idea

East Side Glass Studio is Austin's premier public glass studio and part of our mission is to empower the public through the experience of molten glass. Hot Glass on Calles will be a project that can outreach to people that might not otherwise experience this age old craft!

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

With $5000 we could give 13 people a month long series of classes or 40 people a one time experience of three hours! The funds would be used to cover expenses such as tools, energy, wages for teachers, glass and insurance. We have a true desire to share the information we have gathered with people that are eager to learn!
