Overview of Idea

BML will give back to the community through a series of ensemble classes culminating in a concert showcase. This free program will provide local students of all levels access to conservatory-level coaches and curriculum through the unique experience of playing in a band.

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

The $5000 will allow this entire program to be free to all students.

The program consists of three ensembles, each meeting for one 90-minute session per week, for a total of 9 weeks. On the 10th week, the ensembles will perform a concert showcasing the material prepared by each band.

The funding will cover administrative costs and advertising, instructor pay, space rental, and event organization.
