Do you want to help your community come alive through the arts? Submit your best idea here for a chance to win a $5,000 grant.
Creating opportunities for people to experience art in deep and meaningful ways is key to sustaining vibrant, healthy communities. When we’re engaged in right brain thinking, our creativity can be used as a channel for innovation, helping us view social challenges and opportunities through a fresh lens.
The GOOD Arts & Culture hub explores how creativity is used as a force for good, and we’re looking to you for further inspiration and action. We’ve been writing about the intersection between Arts & Culture and social impact for years, and now we’re aiming to enable more of the GOOD community to get involved. That’s why GOOD Maker is calling on artists, performers, teachers and you to propose a plan to nurture the arts. Maybe you’d like to organize a gallery walk for folks who previously have not had access, or start a social change film club, or teach a claymation workshop for high school students. Tell us how you would use $5,000 to inspire your community through the arts, and you could win the grant to bring your idea to life.
Submit a proposal between July 11 and August 8 (noon Pacific Time). From August 9 to August 23, we’ll open it up to a public vote. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in selecting the winner.
